HOW CSL CAN WORK WITH YOU

The Center for the Study of Learning (CSL) utilizes an action systems model focusing on the dynamic interaction between the performance and learning systems of an organization. By focusing on these dynamic interactions, CSL can help your organization define essential elements of organizational effectiveness.

CSL establishes learning partnerships with multiple levels of support within an organization.  This partnership is created through the integration of the people of your organization, CSL staff, and University research fellows by providing the following services:

  • Applied Research - testing and developing theory through organizational interventions that lead to increased organizational effectiveness.

  • Consulting - working as collaborative partners to jointly meet the needs of the organization.

  • Executive Seminars - facilitating highly interactive and experientially based seminars developed for executive and upper level management teams.

  • Standardized Survey Instruments - developing customized instrumentation to help organizations assess specific areas of interest.

  • Program Evaluation - helping organizations attain an objective and soundly grounded evaluation of all types of organizational initiatives.

CSL utilizes an action research approach to working with organizations and their members.  This approach is grounded in an integrated action theory which focuses on the relationship between the performing and learning systems of an organization and its members.  Focusing on the dynamic interaction between the elements in these systems supports the development and implementation of integrated solutions.

CSL seeks long-term relationships with its organizational partners, believing that together, we can increase each other’s learning.  This combination of talent and synergy provides an insight to the essential elements of organizational effectiveness for your particular organization.
