Dr. Hoare holds a joint appointment with the Counseling Program and the Human Resource Development Program in the Graduate School of Education and Human Development. Before joining The George Washington University, Dr. Hoare was President of Hoare Associates, a firm that specialized in the design and development of adult learning programs. She is on a year's sabbatical and is writing a book about America's first theorist on life span development, Erik Erikson. Carol is a former teacher of nursing and draws upon this background to enhance her understanding of human behavior and individual development. A sample of her consulting assignments include: Marymount University, the U.S. Office of Education, and the Council on Foundations. | |||
